Woman are very good at turning a need into a business and Daisy Bloom is no exception.

I have always had long hair, except for two years when I had a bad perm that turned my mane to more lion than lioness. The solution to that disaster was a cute pixie cut which would have looked better if I had a cute pixie body…..sadly no!

So back to long hair.

Along with long hair I have always had a shower cap. My clever Mother made my first when I was young and I have used one ever since.

Over the years and with the introduction of hairdryers they have almost become extinct!

When I couldn’t find a replacement, having looked the length of New Zealand while on the road selling our Evening wear fashion range, I set about making my own. I had plenty of glitzy fabrics from the fashion range and the results were so good I thought I should try selling them at the local markets.

After selling over 600 and still getting enquiries I felt it was time to launch Daisy Bloom.

Daisy Bloom Shower Caps & Turbans are a little bit sparkly, a little bit fun, but they take their job of keeping your hair protected seriously.
